About Junior Netball
Junior Netball is one of the fastest-growing junior netball organisations in the region, providing fun, inclusive and high-quality coaching for children aged 7–16.
Our mission is to create an environment where every child feels welcomed, challenged and inspired to become the best version of themselves through netball.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for enthusiastic coaches to join our team across a number of locations.
The Role
We're looking for passionate coaches who can deliver engaging, enjoyable and safe coaching sessions while helping young players develop their skills, confidence and love of netball.
Depending on your experience and qualifications, you may join us as an Assistant Coach (£15/hour), Senior Coach (£20/hour) or Head Coach (£25/hour). We also offer a Volunteer Development Coach Programme for aspiring coaches looking to begin their coaching journey.
Training sessions and match days are typically paid as 2-hour sessions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver fun, inclusive and well-organised coaching sessions.
- Create a positive environment where every child feels valued.
- Support players' technical, tactical and personal development.
- Encourage teamwork, confidence and enjoyment.
- Work collaboratively with other coaches.
- Support matches, tournaments and club events where appropriate.
- Build positive relationships with parents and guardians.
- Follow Junior Netball safeguarding, health & safety and coaching standards.
- Represent Junior Netball professionally at all times.
About You

Essential Requirements
- A passion for coaching children.
- Availability for evening sessions and occasional weekends.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete).
Desirable
- England Netball Coaching Qualification (Level 1 or above).
- Previous coaching or teaching experience.
- First Aid qualification.
- Playing experience.
