Plus Packaging is one of the UK's fastest-growing packaging distributors, supplying businesses across the North West and beyond. We're looking for a reliable, customer-focused Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver to join our transport team.
This is more than just a driving role. Our drivers are the face of our business, delivering excellent service to customers every day while representing the high standards we pride ourselves on.
The Role
You'll be delivering packaging products to a variety of commercial customers each day using our fleet of 18-tonne curtain-sided vehicles. Routes, vehicle type and number of drops will vary depending on business requirements, so flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.
Typical duties include:
- Completing multi-drop deliveries across the North West and surrounding areas.
- Loading and securing your vehicle safely.
- Unloading goods by hand where required, or using customer/on-board handling equipment where appropriate.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.
- Using handheld devices to manage deliveries, capture signatures and upload proof of delivery.
- Providing friendly, professional customer service at every delivery.
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on time.
- Maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and presentation.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum 1 year's Class 2 driving experience.
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
- Good level of physical fitness, as some deliveries involve manual handling.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
