Job Overview
The Mocha Diner is seeking a full-time cook to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys preparing traditional homemade meals and desserts cooked to order to a high standard and who is is seeking to be part of a small and close knit kitchen team.
This role requires work on Saturdays and/or Sundays and bank holidays (rotating rota). Please only apply if you can commit to this.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals following standard processes and recipes
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times, maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with manager and team to deliver excellent customer service
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cook desirable but not essential - training will be provided so willingness to learn is critical
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and busy environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
