Are you a skilled Plumber looking to join a friendly, well-established company?
Inafix Ltd, based in Shaftesbury, specialises in renewable energy solutions including heat pumps and air conditioning, alongside a full range of plumbing and heating installations. We also provide expert servicing, repairs and maintenance for a wide variety of plumbing and heating systems.
This is a varied installation-based role, working across domestic plumbing, heating and renewable energy projects. You will have the opportunity to work on first and second fix plumbing, hot and cold water systems, radiators, hot water cylinders, underfloor heating, air source heat pumps and associated pipework, with training provided to develop your skills in heating and renewable technologies.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in domestic plumbing installations
- Good knowledge of plumbing systems, pipework and fittings
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to your work
- Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Carry out first and second fix plumbing installations on domestic projects
- Install hot and cold water systems, including pipework, valves, fittings and associated components
- Install and connect hot water cylinders, radiators, taps, toilets, showers and other plumbing fixtures
- Run, connect and test various types of plumbing and heating pipework
- Assist with the installation of air source heat pumps, underfloor heating and associated heating systems
- Carry out plumbing alterations and upgrades as part of renovation and installation projects
- Complete installations to a high standard and in accordance with current regulations and industry standards
- Carry out system testing, fault finding and flushing to ensure systems are operating correctly
- Work from plans and installation specifications, ensuring all work is completed accurately and safely
- Liaise professionally with customers, explaining the work being carried out and providing clear advice where required
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and within agreed timescales
- Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment on all sites
- Complete required installation paperwork and job records accurately
- Keep up to date with industry developments and relevant regulations, with training provided where required
