Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Follow established cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are maintained consistently and efficiently
- Handle waste disposal responsibly, ensuring bins are emptied regularly and recycling protocols are followed
- Maintain cleanliness of high-touch surfaces to promote hygiene and reduce the spread of germs
- Use safety equipment properly and adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
- Assist with stock management by replenishing cleaning supplies and ensuring equipment is in good working order
- Cleaning freezer/cold rooms on site before being refitted
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles, demonstrating reliability and attention to detail
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment used in professional environments
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate loads, and stand for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
