We require a Sous Chef for to join the kitchen team at our award-winning restaurant.
As our Sous Chef you will ensure effective preparation and perfect presentation of our mouth-watering dishes. You will take a hands-on approach ensuring high levels of food preparation prior to service. During service you will work as part of a team using a wide range of cooking methods to prepare fresh dishes for our guests. You will also take responsibility for rotation of food items, checking food quality and reducing wastage. As a Sous Chef you will maintain the highest standards of Health and Safety and Food Safety and take a clean as you go approach.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years experience
- A genuine passion for food and cooking
- Knife handling skills
- Strong knowledge of food production and cooking methods
- Organisation skills with the ability to work well under pressure and multi-task
- A clean as you go approach
- Excellent knowledge of Food Safety and Health and Safety legislation
