Here at Xplore Dundee we are looking for a dedicated Labourer to join our energetic team at our Dundee Depot. In this key role, you will be an essential part of our team, contributing to various construction and maintenance projects. Reporting to your line manager, your role will involve performing physical tasks while adhering to safety regulations.
What you can bring to us:
.Ensure the workshop is cleaned to a high level, ensuring that health and safety requirements are adhered to.
·Ensure support is given to the mechanics to reduce downtime, including managing tool use and being an extra pair of hands when required.
·Movement of heavy parts within the confines of the workshop and yard to support ongoing engineering maintenance of the fleet.
· Uphold, safeguard, and promote the reputation and values of the organisation via all internal and external business relationships and activities.
· Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all times and there is full compliance with legal requirements.
· Support the overall Engineering Team to achieve the required McGill's standard on vehicles safety and presentation.
· Support the Stores Team by ordering parts, receiving and booking parts and maintaining stock in absence of the Storekeeper
What we need from you:
.Proven experience of using MS Office packages and use of IT programs
· Ability to lift and move heavy parts
· Good communication skills
. A driving license
