We're now looking for an exceptional Café Manager to lead the next chapter of our journey.
The Opportunity
You'll be joining a thriving independent business with an established customer base, a passionate team and ambitious plans for the future.
Working closely with the Directors, you'll have the autonomy to lead the day-to-day operation while developing the people, systems and standards that will take the business to the next level.
This is a hands-on leadership role, balancing time on the café floor with dedicated management time each week.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop the team.
- Recruit, train and support staff.
- Manage rotas, labour budgets and staffing efficiency.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and presentation standards.
- Maintain hygiene, food safety and operational compliance.
- Monitor sales, stock, waste and profitability.
- Produce weekly management reports.
- Work with the Directors on menu development, marketing and continuous improvement.
- Develop your Assistant Manager and Supervisors through effective delegation and coaching.
About You
You'll already have experience managing a busy café, restaurant or hospitality business.
You're organised, commercially aware and enjoy leading people. You set high standards, follow things through and take pride in building a positive, accountable team culture.
You'll be just as comfortable supporting the team on a busy service as you are planning ahead, improving systems and developing people.
