About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, organised person to take ownership of our stores and factory cleanliness. This is a hands on role that sits at the heart of daily operations if the stores run well and the factory is clean, everything else runs better. We are actively improving our storage systems and facilities, and we want someone who will take pride in that improvement and help drive it forward.
What You Will Be Doing
- Managing incoming and outgoing stock, checking deliveries, and maintaining accurate records
- Organising and improving storage areas so materials are easy to locate and safe to handle
- Operating a forklift to move materials and equipment (licence preferred, we can arrange training if needed)
- Keeping the factory floor and welfare areas clean and tidy on a daily basis
- Supporting the production team with straightforward manufacturing tasks when required
- Hiab crane operation would be a bonus, training available for the right candidate
What We Are Looking For
- Some previous stores, warehouse, or logistics experience is preferred
- Forklift licence preferred, full training available if you do not hold one
- Organised and methodical approach to stock management
- Practical, can do attitude and a willingness to keep things clean and tidy
- Good communication and teamwork
Pay & Benefits
- Up to £14.71 per hour
- Generous monthly and annual profit share
- Overtime paid
- 10 minutes paid break plus 30 minutes unpaid break per shift
- Forklift and/or Hiab training available for the right candidate
Hours
- Full time, Monday to Friday
- Core hours: 08:30 – 17:00
