Role : Class 1 Driver
Hours: 48 hours per week, Mon - Fri

The role: We are looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our Transport Team based out of our site in Erith.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving and operating a Class 1 vehicle.
- To operate one vehicle with a variety of trailers, eg, bulker, curtain, flat
- Complete daily vehicle check sheets and defect reports as directed by the transport team.
- Use of tachographs, digital and analogue.
- Customer focussed with a professional approach to the job
- Adhere all relevant driving laws and regulations.
- Always provide good customer service (via telephone or face to face).
- Adhere all health and safety requirements as directed.
- Always maintain tidiness and cleanliness as directed.
- Undertaking nights out up to four nights per week, as required by the Company.
- Any other duties as directed by the transport team.
- To work nights out where necessary
- Loading / unloading own trailer with FLT
Requirements:
- Experience of driving and using a Class 1 vehicle
- Knowledge of Driver’s hours and working time directive’s regulations.
- Smart and professional appearance.
- The ability to work both as part of the team and by yourself.
- Driver CPC
- FLT training
- ADR training (willing to undergo training)
