The Opportunity
An established international contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a major Data Centre project in Dunstable.
This role presents the opportunity to take ownership of key commercial responsibilities on a high-profile, technically challenging scheme while working alongside an experienced project team. The successful candidate will contribute to the financial success of the project and support the delivery of one of the region's most significant Data Centre developments.
With a substantial pipeline of upcoming Data Centre projects across North London and the wider UK market, this is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor seeking long-term career development within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage subcontractor procurement and package administration.
- Prepare and manage subcontract accounts through to final account.
- Produce client valuations and applications for payment.
- Manage variations, change control and contractual matters.
- Prepare accurate cost reports, forecasts and cash flow projections.
- Monitor project performance against commercial targets.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while maximising opportunities.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
About You
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
- Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor.
- Strong understanding of commercial management and construction contracts.
- Experience delivering projects from pre-construction through to completion.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience within Data Centres, Mission Critical, Industrial or large-scale Commercial projects would be advantageous.

Pay: From £60,000.00 per year
