The Opportunity
Working alongside experienced engineers and project managers, you’ll develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to become a professional Building Services Engineer.
Your degree will be studied on a part-time basis with our university partner (currently anticipated to be London South Bank University), while you continue to gain valuable workplace experience.
Throughout the programme you’ll progressively take on greater responsibility, learning how engineering projects are designed, managed and delivered.
What You’ll Learn
During your apprenticeship you’ll gain experience in:
· Electrical building services design
· Lighting and power systems
· Building Regulations and BS 7671
· CAD, BIM, and digital engineering
· Estimating and tender preparation
· Project planning and delivery
· Procurement and commercial awareness
· Health & Safety and CDM
· Site management and commissioning
· Client communication and project coordination
As your confidence grows, you’ll begin assisting with the management of live engineering projects.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious, enjoys solving problems and wants to build a professional engineering career.
You’ll ideally have:
· 3 A Levels (or equivalent qualifications meeting university entry requirements)
· A strong interest in engineering and construction
· Good maths skills
· Excellent communication skills
· A positive attitude and willingness to learn
· Good organizational skills
· Confidence using Microsoft Office applications
· A full UK driving licence (or be working towards obtaining one)
Previous engineering experience is not required.
