Job Summary
We are looking for a warm, reliable and enthusiastic Qualified supply staff to support our childcare team on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess strong communication skills. This role involves assisting with daily nursery activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for young children, and providing support to the permanent nursery staff. Previous nursery experience and early childhood education knowledge are highly desirable.

About the role
The Secret Garden Day nursery is a small homely nursery based in Attenborough next to the beautiful nature reserve. The nursery features welcoming indoor rooms and dedicated garden space, offering a rich learning environment for exploration and learning.
As a Bank nursery Assistant/Practitioner you'll support across all age groups from babies up to Pre-school. Your duties will include supporting the team, keeping the space safe and engaging, supporting children during their activities and daily routines.
About you
- Ability to work in a team
- Level 2 or 3 Qualified or above
- Experience of working with children
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively with children of various ages and backgrounds
- A caring attitude, patience, organisational skills, and the ability to adapt to changing situations are essentialThis role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about early childhood development to gain practical experience within a supportive environment.
