PJD Mechanical Engineering is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our SHEQ team.
This is a hands-on, varied position for someone with strong knowledge of fabrication, welding and engineering quality. You will work closely with workshop, site and project teams to ensure work is completed safely, correctly and to the standards expected by our customers.

-
Supporting internal, external and project audits.
-
Investigating non-conformances and helping implement practical improvements.
-
Liaising with clients, third-party inspectors and operational teams.
-
Supporting company certifications, approvals and quality standards.
This is an opportunity to influence how quality is managed across the business and help prevent issues before they arise.
You will have practical experience within a fabrication, welding or engineering environment and the confidence to apply quality requirements in both workshop and site settings.

Experience of BS EN ISO 3834, BS EN 12952, BS EN 13480, ASME IX, ASME B31.1 or ASME B31.3 would be advantageous.
You will also be organised, solutions-focused and able to build effective working relationships while maintaining the standards expected by the business and its customers.
The role is based from Colwich but requires regular travel to company and customer sites. During busy periods, you must be prepared to work away from home for extended periods.

You will join an established mechanical engineering business delivering technically demanding projects for major customers. You will benefit from a varied workload, exposure to different projects and environments, and the opportunity to make a visible contribution to quality across the business.
