As a Van and Trailer Driver / Grounds Person / Gardener / Landscaper, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving outdoor environments. Your responsibilities will include carrying out a range of gardening and horticultural tasks to ensure landscapes are healthy, well-maintained, and visually appealing. Using your experience with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems, you will support the effective care and development of green spaces. Your knowledge of landscape maintenance and general groundskeeping will contribute to preserving the overall appearance and condition of the property. A valid driving licence is required, as the role also involves driving company vehicles and transporting equipment when needed. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about outdoor work and committed to delivering high-quality landscape maintenance.
Please be aware this is a highly varied role which will require you to be on your feet the majority of the day.
Requirements
Ability to work outside - essential
- Trailer Driving licence - Required
- Grounds maintenance experience - Required (24 Months)
- PA1 + PA6 Spraying licence - not essential but preferred
- To be able to work hours 6.30am-4pm Monday to Friday in Summer. 6.30am-3pm winter months
Qualifications
- Growing experience in horticulture
- Proficiency in gardening techniques and practices
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Knowledge of irrigation systems for landscape maintenance
- Experience in grounds keeping tasks
- Possession of a valid driving license for transportation needs
