We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher who can inspire students and contribute to the continued success and development of the department. The Faculty is well established and an area of excellent practice – it is a fantastic place to accelerate the development of your own teaching skills and share ideas on what makes outstanding learning. You will be required to actively engage in up-to-date teaching pedagogy and contribute to the continual improvement and refinement of teaching and learning across the Social Sciences curriculum. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop engaging schemes of learning, support student progress and ensure excellent outcomes for all learners.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching Social Sciences and is able to share this enthusiasm with their students so they develop a real thirst for excellence. You will need to be a teacher who is capable of building strong relationships with students and families to help maximise this enthusiasm and thirst for learning.
The successful candidate will:

- Have strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Be committed to raising achievement and ensuring excellent outcomes for all learners.
- Have high expectations of student behaviour, engagement and achievement.
- Be willing to contribute to the wider life of the school and support enrichment opportunities where appropriate.
- Be committed to their own professional development and collaborative working.
