We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaning supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within a school. This role is essential for ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both staff and clients.
The Supervisor will work as part of and guide the team on site, demonstrating attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and effectively. Including managing stock levels.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules to ensure all areas are kept in pristine condition.
- Provide exceptional service while interacting with clients and staff during cleaning tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within set timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physically fit, with the capability to perform manual tasks such as lifting and moving equipment or supplies.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning practices is advantageous
Details
- Cleaning during term time 3:30 pm - 5:30pm Monday - Friday
- Deep cleaning within half terms on agreed dates / time
- Location: WA13 0GH
- DBS Check
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
