Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Car Mechanic to join our team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle issues. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and other vehicle systems
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out repairs efficiently and safely
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as required for repair or replacement
- Follow technical manuals and schematics to ensure accurate repairs and maintenance procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures and addressing client concerns
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid replacements
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and organisational policies
Experience
- Proven experience as a Car Mechanic or similar role within an automotive workshop or garage environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques
- Experience with equipment repair, maintenance routines, and vehicle diagnostics
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues is desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients
