Job Summary
Littleover Dental Practice is an attractive, modern dental practice, with a strong support team. Providing a supportive/ compliant environment to place dental implants. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Implant Dentist to join our practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced implant procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes, and maintaining the highest standards of dental care. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team committed to excellence in patient care. This role would initially be 1 day a month , increasing to 1 day a fortnight ideally on a Tuesday.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive implant procedures, including placement, restoration, and follow-up care.
- Interpret medical imaging such as X-rays and CT scans to plan and execute implant treatments effectively.
- Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, and post-operative care to ensure informed consent.
- Maintain meticulous records of all procedures, patient histories, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with dental technicians, radiologists, and other specialists to optimise treatment outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in implant dentistry through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- recognised dental qualification with valid registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
- Proven experience in implant dentistry, with a strong portfolio of successful cases.
- Skilled in interpreting medical imaging such as digital X-rays and 3D scans.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to patients.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety.
