Duties
- Safely load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks, ensuring heavy lifting is performed with proper technique.
- Manage materials handling tasks including picking, packing, stocking, and organizing inventory within the warehouse management system to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Operate forklifts and other mechanical tools proficiently to move goods efficiently around the warehouse.
- Conduct quality control checks to verify product integrity and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch by accurately packing items, labeling packages, and coordinating with shipping carriers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to promote safety and operational efficiency.
- Assist in inventory counts, stock replenishment, and documentation of inbound and outbound shipments using warehouse management systems.
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout shifts.
- Experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and processing shipments.
- Mechanical aptitude or basic mechanical knowledge beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Strong attention to detail for quality control, picking & packing accuracy, and stock management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently during night hours in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £25,420.00-£40,296.18 per year
