Thurton Auto Centre has rapidly established itself as one of Norfolk’s leading independent MOT, service and repair centres, with a dedicated AWS and NCC Approved Motorhome, Campervan & Caravan Care Department.
Our team of qualified technicians now supports customers from across East Anglia and the South East, providing everything from habitation servicing and repairs through to specialist installations, upgrades and vehicle care.
In less than two years, we’ve grown our customer database from zero to more than 1,700 active motorhome, campervan and caravan owners.
Alongside this growth, we’ve successfully developed our Motorhome Sales Brokerage, helping customers professionally market and sell their leisure vehicles while also sourcing their next motorhome through our nationwide network.
Demand continues to grow, and we’re now looking for an exceptional individual to take this side of our business to the next level.
The Opportunity
This role is unlike a traditional dealership sales position.
You’ll inherit access to an established and continually growing customer database containing thousands of engaged leisure vehicle owners.
Every day we’re speaking with customers who are:
- Looking to buy their next motorhome or campervan.
- Ready to upgrade or downsize.
- Retiring from motorhoming and looking to sell.
- Visiting our workshops for servicing, repairs, MOTs and habitation checks.
- Asking us to source their next vehicle.
We have already built the platform.
Now we need the right person to maximise its potential.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is already successful within the leisure vehicle industry.
Ideally you’ll have experience selling:
- Motorhomes
- Campervans
- Caravans
- Leisure vehicles
Whether you’ve worked for a major dealer group or an established independent business, you’ll have a proven history of delivering results.
More importantly, you’ll be someone who:
- Has a demonstrable record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Can manage your own diary and workload without being micromanaged.
- Understands CRM systems and knows how to nurture opportunities from enquiry through to sale.
- Sees opportunity within an existing customer database rather than constantly chasing cold leads.
- Is commercially aware and understands profitability, not simply volume.
- Builds relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
- Has the energy, ambition and determination to continually grow the business.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Growing our Motorhome Sales Brokerage.
- Managing customer enquiries from first contact through to handover.
- Building long-term relationships with buyers and sellers.
- Developing business from our existing customer database.
- Generating additional vehicle sales through proactive customer engagement.
- Working alongside our workshop and customer care teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Becoming the face of our growing vehicle sales operation.
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive basic salary from £30,000 (dependent upon experience).
- 10% commission on retained profit.
