Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our vibrant early childhood education setting. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive and develop. Your leadership will ensure that the nursery runs smoothly, complies with all regulatory standards, and fosters a positive atmosphere for both children and staff. Duties
- Lead, motivate, and manage nursery staff to deliver high-quality childcare and early childhood education
- Oversee daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, socialization, and development
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements governing early childhood settings
- Build strong relationships with parents and guardians through clear communication and regular updates on their child's progress
- Manage administrative tasks including staffing schedules, record keeping, and budgeting
- Ensure all staff are trained in child safeguarding procedures and uphold best practices in childcare
Requirements
- Proven management experience within a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team of childcare professionals
- Extensive experience working directly with children in a childcare or preschool environment
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and childcare regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise effectively with parents, staff, and regulatory bodies
- Valid driving license preferred for transportation duties or home visits if required
- Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are highly desirable

Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
