Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our vibrant early childhood education setting. Duties
- Lead, motivate, and manage nursery staff to deliver high-quality childcare and early childhood education
- Oversee daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, socialization, and development
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements governing early childhood settings
- Build strong relationships with parents and guardians through clear communication and regular updates on their child's progress
- Manage administrative tasks including staffing schedules, record keeping, and budgeting
- Ensure all staff are trained in child safeguarding procedures and uphold best practices in childcare
Requirements
- Proven management experience within a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team of childcare professionals
- Extensive experience working directly with children in a childcare or preschool environment
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and childcare regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise effectively with parents, staff, and regulatory bodies
- Valid driving license preferred for transportation duties or home visits if required
- Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are highly desirable

Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
