Job Title: Valeter / Delivery Driver
Reports To: Aftersales Manager
Job Purpose
To ensure all motorcycles are presented to the highest Honda brand standards through thorough cleaning, preparation, and safe delivery. The role combines vehicle valeting with customer-facing delivery and collection duties, supporting both the sales and aftersales departments.
Key Responsibilities
Valeting & Preparation
- Clean, valet, and prepare new and used motorcycles to Honda presentation standards
- Wash, dry, polish, and detail motorcycles, including wheels, bodywork, seats, and controls
- Apply protective products where required (e.g. ACF-50, polish, corrosion protection)
- Carry out basic pre-delivery checks (tyre condition, fluid levels, battery charge, general appearance)
- Prepare motorcycles for showroom display, handover, or photography
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the valeting area and equipment
Delivery & Collection
- Safely deliver new and used motorcycles to customers, ensuring excellent customer service
- Collect motorcycles from customers, other dealerships, or transport hubs as required
- Load and secure motorcycles correctly in vans or trailers using approved equipment
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and obtain customer signatures
- Provide a polite, professional handover experience representing the Honda brand
General Duties
- Assist with moving motorcycles around the showroom, workshop, and storage areas
- Support workshop and sales teams during busy periods
- Carry out basic site duties such as keeping forecourts, showroom entrances, and storage areas tidy
- Follow all health & safety procedures, including manual handling and road safety requirements
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Full UK motorcycle licence
- Full UK car driving licence
- Experience riding and handling motorcycles safely
- Good attention to detail and pride in high standards of presentation
- Strong time management and reliability
- Professional, customer-focused attitude
Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
