Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Senior Footwear Product Development Specialist to lead the creation and refinement of cutting-edge footwear designs. Duties
- Lead the conceptualization and development of new footwear products, translating design ideas into detailed technical specifications.
- Utilize digital design software such as SketchUp, Maya, and CAD to create accurate 3D models and prototypes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with brand goals, manufacturing capabilities, and consumer needs.
- Develop detailed technical documentation, including patterns, construction details, and material specifications.
- Oversee the integration of aesthetic elements using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools to craft compelling visual presentations.
- Conduct photography sessions to capture product visuals for marketing and internal review purposes.
- Review and refine prototypes through testing, ensuring durability, comfort, and style meet established standards.
- Stay current with industry trends in web design, graphic design, and digital visualization techniques to enhance product presentations.
Experience
- Proven experience in footwear product development or a related field within fashion or sportswear industries.
- Strong proficiency in digital design tools such as SketchUp, Maya, CAD software, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and InDesign.
- Demonstrated ability to create detailed technical drawings and 3D models for footwear products.
- Knowledge of web design principles including HTML and CSS for digital asset presentation is a plus.
- Experience in photography or visual content creation to support product marketing efforts.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes related to footwear production is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
