Overview
We're looking for a talented Visual Merchandiser to help bring our seasonal spaces to life.
Are you passionate about retail, customer service and creating inspirational displays? Working across two of our popular departments, you will play an important role in delivering an excellent shopping experience for our customers. From creating eye-catching displays and merchandising seasonal ranges to assisting customers with product advice and purchases, this is a varied and rewarding role within a busy garden centre environment.
Key responsbilities:
- Creating visual and inspirational displays to help drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Assisting with the movement, assembly, and merchandising of seasonal ranges.
- Providing excellent customer service and product advice.
- Replenishing stock and ensuring products are correctly merchandised and priced.
- Oversee the arrival of goods, checking that all furniture and Christmas stock has come in correctly against orders and in perfect condition.
- Support seasonal sales campaigns and special events.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure the department remains organised, safe and visually appealing.
- Adapt and update displays throughout the year for seasonal changes, promotions and customer trends.
What we're looking for:
- Previous visual merchandising experience- retail, garden centre, or seasonal experience is a bonus.
- A creative eye with a strong flair for festive and seasonal design.
- Sharp attention to detail and a passion for impactful, inspiring displays.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on working environment.
- Enthusiastic, organised and reliable.
