Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Multi-Trader to carry out domestic repair and maintenance works across social housing properties in North West London. The role suits someone reliable, practical, and confident across several trades, with a good standard of finish and a professional approach when working in occupied homes.
Main Duties
- Carry out general domestic maintenance and repair works
- Complete basic carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, decorating, and minor kitchen/bathroom repairs
- Attend planned and reactive maintenance jobs across social housing properties
- Diagnose issues and complete works efficiently
- Work respectfully in occupied homes
- Ensure jobs are completed to a clean, safe, and professional standard
- Communicate clearly with the office, tenants, and supervisors
- Take photos and provide updates on completed works
- Keep work areas tidy and follow health and safety requirements
Requirements
- Previous experience as a multi-trader, maintenance operative, handyman, or similar
- Confident in at least 3 of the following: carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering, painting/decorating, basic flooring, kitchen/bathroom repairs
- Experience in domestic maintenance
- Social housing experience preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Own vehicle required
- Own tools required
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Able to work independently and manage daily jobs
