We're looking for an experienced, passionate Barista to become the face of our exciting new Japanese-inspired takeaway coffee and matcha shop.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join us from the very beginning and help create a welcoming, memorable experience for every customer.
What we're looking for
You'll have:
- Previous experience making high-quality coffee in a busy café or coffee shop.
- Experience preparing traditional and modern matcha drinks (or a genuine passion and confidence working with matcha).
- A friendly, outgoing personality with great communication skills.
- Confidence chatting with customers and building relationships with regulars.
- A positive attitude and pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
- The ability to stay calm and organised during busy periods.
- Attention to detail and a passion for presentation.
Your role
As our Barista, you'll be the first person customers see when they walk through the door. You'll play a key role in creating the welcoming atmosphere and quality that our brand is all about.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing speciality coffee and premium matcha beverages to a consistently high standard.
- Delivering warm, engaging customer service.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the workspace.
- Managing takeaway orders efficiently.
- Helping create a positive, energetic environment that keeps customers coming back.
- Contributing ideas as we grow our new business.
