About Ambrosia
Ambrosia is an independent cocktail bar in the heart of Richmond, serving a creative cocktail menu in a stylish, intimate setting.
We’re looking for an experienced Head Cocktail Bartender to join our team and take a leading role behind the bar.
The Role
This is a hands-on position for someone who is confident behind the bar, knows their cocktails and can help maintain high standards across every shift.
You’ll be responsible for delivering excellent drinks and service while helping to lead and support the wider bar team.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving cocktails to a consistently high standard
- Leading the bar during busy services
- Supporting and guiding other members of the bar team
- Opening and closing the venue
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Monitoring stock and helping minimise wastage
- Ensuring the bar is fully prepared and organised before service
- Providing friendly, professional customer service
- Helping maintain Ambrosia’s service and drinks standards
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cocktail bartending experience is essential
- Strong cocktail knowledge and practical bartending skills
- Experience leading a shift or supervising a bar team is preferred
- Confident working independently when required
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- Calm and professional during busy periods
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good understanding of general bar operations
- Available to work evenings and weekends
Pay
£12.50–£14.50 per hour DOE
