We are looking for a passionate and nurturing Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Early Years Educator to join our Baby & Toddler Room team. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who genuinely values the early years and wants to be part of a setting that prioritises child-led learning, emotional wellbeing, and outdoor exploration.
From woodland walks and sensory play to story time and farm adventures, no two days are ever the same at Mini Explorers.
The Role
As an Early Years Educator, you will play an important role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where babies and toddlers feel secure, confident, and excited to learn.
You will support children through responsive care, playful interactions, and meaningful learning experiences inspired by the EYFS framework and the natural world around us.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting babies and toddlers through warm, nurturing care
- Creating engaging learning opportunities through play and exploration
- Planning activities both indoors and outdoors
- Building positive relationships with children and families
- Observing and celebrating developmental milestones
- Supporting children’s communication, confidence, and independence
- Working collaboratively within a supportive staff team
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds a recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Has experience working within an early years setting (desirable)
- Has a genuine passion for working with young children
- Enjoys outdoor learning in all weather conditions
- Is warm, enthusiastic, and proactive
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills

Hours & Requirements
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Shifts worked on a rota basis between 6:45am – 7:00pm
- Enhanced DBS required (Can be completed upon successful employment)
- Paediatric First Aid certificate preferred (or willingness to complete prior to starting)
- Access to own transport essential due to nursery location
