Care Assistant Contract

Contracted to 33-44 hours per week

Role Overview
As Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in residents' lives by delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing.
You will support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition, hydration and daily living, while following individual care plans and responding sensitively to their physical, emotional and social needs. You will monitor residents' wellbeing, promptly report any changes in condition and maintain accurate care records to support safe, consistent care.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will encourage residents to participate in activities, assist with meals, accompany them on appointments and outings where required, and help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment. You will follow Health & Safety, infection prevention and safeguarding procedures, ensuring residents remain at the heart of everything you do.
The successful candidates will be required to work alternate weekends.

Knowledge of Health & Safety, infection prevention and safe working practices.

Previous care or care home experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable, or a willingness to work towards this qualification. The Care Certificate must be completed within the first three months if not already achieved.
