Facilities and Compliance Assistant
Location: Multi-site role with travel across nursery settings as required

About the Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Facilities and Compliance Assistant to support the smooth running of our nursery environments.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple projects, solving problems, and ensuring things get done. You will act as the central point of contact for maintenance and facilities issues across our nurseries, liaising with contractors, tracking repairs, supporting refurbishment projects, and helping to maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance.
Working closely with our Safety and Safeguarding Lead, you will play an important role in helping us provide safe, well-maintained environments for children, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance and facilities issues reported by nursery teams
- Liaise with contractors and facilities providers to ensure repairs and servicing are completed
- Maintain trackers and dashboards to monitor progress and outstanding actions
- Monitor nursery safety checks and identify recurring maintenance concerns
- Support the implementation of interim safety measures while repairs are being arranged
- Maintain contractor records, insurance documentation, and compliance information
- Coordinate refurbishment, redecoration, and expansion projects
- Support health and safety audits, inspections, and compliance activities
- Produce reports and provide administrative support to the Safety and Safeguarding Lead
About You
You will be highly organised, detail-focused, and confident communicating with a wide range of people. You will enjoy managing multiple priorities, following up actions, and ensuring tasks are completed effectively.
Ideally, you will have experience in administration, facilities coordination, property management, compliance, health and safety, or a similar role.
