We are seeking a versatile and skilled Multi Skilled Operative to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Carry out carpentry tasks including framing, fitting, and finishing work with precision.
- Perform roofing repairs and installations to meet project specifications.
- Conduct construction painting to enhance the durability and appearance of structures.
- Install and maintain plumbing systems, including pipework and fixtures.
- Execute masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing.
- Undertake welding tasks using appropriate techniques and safety procedures.
- Assist with electrical installations and repairs in compliance with industry standards.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively across various trades.
- Fabricate components as required for different projects, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines while maintaining safety standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, or fabrication.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, and screwdrivers.
- Competence with power tools including drills, grinders, saws, and welders.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different tasks and work environments.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
- A valid UK driving licence is desirable but not essential. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a varied position that allows them to apply multiple skills within the construction industry. All positions are paid in accordance with employment regulations.
