Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie who is eager to develop into a Sous Chef within seven months or a sous who is happy to wait for the position. (salary will be CDP in that time) The salary for the Sous chef position will be discussed with the person who gets the Job. Tips are excellent and split equally amongst all staff. The Owner does not take a share. Accommodation can be provided for 3 months to help with relocation

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and presentation standards
- Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen operations during service shifts
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
- Support the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols
- Contribute to menu development ideas and seasonal updates
- Manage stock levels, assist with ordering supplies, and minimise waste effectively
- Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Demonstrable skills in meal preparation and presentation
- Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- A genuine passion for culinary arts and continuous professional development

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
