Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide professional assistance throughout their shopping experience
- Offer product information, advice, and recommendations to meet customer needs
- Conduct merchandising activities to ensure attractive and well-stocked displays
- Upsell products and services to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Handle customer enquiries via phone, or in person with courtesy and professionalism
- Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and manage cash or card payments
- Maintain organised records of sales and customer interactions
- Assist in stock management, including inventory checks and replenishment of shelves
- Support the team with general administrative tasks as required, ensuring smooth store operations
Qualifications
- Fluency in English
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock counts
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise duties effectively during busy periods
- Knowledge of merchandising principles to enhance product presentation
- Experience in upselling techniques to maximise sales potential is preferred but not essential
- Ability to work well within a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
