Responsibilities
- Deliver professional hair styling and barbering services tailored to client preferences
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly and understanding their needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Consult with clients to recommend suitable styles, treatments, or products
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in barbering
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times and optimise client flow
- Ensure all tools and equipment are sanitised and maintained regularly
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in customer service within a barbering environment
- Skilled in hair styling, cutting, and barbering techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Organised and able to manage multiple appointments efficiently
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of current hair trends and styling products is desirable but not essential
