Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Catering Manager to oversee all aspects of a catering operation within a primary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating food preparation, supervising staff, and ensuring exceptional service.

Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and oversee the catering service of a primary school.
- Supervise the catering team to ensure efficient workflow and excellent service.
- Coordinate food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Develop exciting and vibrant menus for the students, considering dietary requirements and preferences.
- Maintain health and safety standards across all catering activities, including food safety protocols.
- Monitor service delivery
- Train new staff members and provide ongoing leadership to foster a motivated team environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a school environment.
- Supervising experience with strong team management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, staff, and suppliers.
