About the role
We're looking for a Property Content Creator to cover a 12-month maternity leave, taking full ownership of the photography, videography and social content that brings our properties to market.
This is a hands-on, practical role. You'll be out on the road most days, shooting homes across the region, then back at your desk turning that footage into listing imagery, property films and social content that gets people through the door. It's fast-paced work with multiple shoots and tight deadlines running at once, and it suits someone who thrives on getting things done properly and on time.
Every time you step into a property, you are the brand. Our clients are trusting us with their home and their sale, so how you present yourself matters as much as what you produce.
What you'll be doing
- Photographing residential properties to a high commercial standard
- Filming and editing property walkthrough films and short-form video
- Creating social media content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Managing your own diary of shoots and turning work around to agreed deadlines
- Liaising directly with vendors, tenants and colleagues on site
- Maintaining and looking after the camera and drone equipment provided
- Keeping our visual output consistent, on-brand and better than everyone else's
What we're looking for
Essential
- Professional-standard photography and film experience. This can be commercial work or content you've built and shot yourself, we care about the quality of the work, not where it came from
- A genuine creative eye: composition, light, framing, and knowing when a shot isn't good enough
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Reliability and punctuality. Appointments are booked around vendors' lives and being late isn't an option
- Confident, professional and personable in other people's homes
- The ability to juggle several jobs at once and stay on top of deadlines without being chased
- A hard-working, enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to bring new ideas
- Full UK driving licence and your own car
Desirable
- Previous experience photographing property
- Familiarity with Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or similar editing software
- Drone experience or an A2 CofC / GVC
If your software knowledge has gaps, don't let that stop you applying. We'll train you on everything we use. The raw skill and the work ethic are what we can't teach.
What we offer
- £30,000 salary, plus mileage paid for all business travel
- All professional camera, lens, lighting and drone equipment provided
- Full training on our systems, software and workflow
- Genuine creative freedom to develop and improve how we present property
- A varied role where no two days look the same
How to apply
We're far more interested in seeing how you think and what you've made than in reading a covering letter. To apply, send the following to [[email protected]]:
- Your CV.
- Three of your best films. Links or files. Property, commercial, or your own content, whatever shows your work at its strongest.
- Three of your best property photographs, if you have them. If you haven't shot property before, send three interior or architectural images instead.
- One content idea for DM & Co. Homes. Something you think we should be making over the next few months. A short paragraph is plenty, we just want the idea and the reasoning, not a pitch deck.
- Your favourite house tour. It doesn't need to be one of yours, and it doesn't need to be a UK agent. Tell us what makes it good, and how you'd bring that thinking into what we do.
Points 4 and 5 matter to us as much as the showreel. Keep them brief and be specific.
