We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Full-Time Gym Cleaner / Facilities Assistant.
This role is essential in ensuring our members enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment every day. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining high standards throughout the club and be able to work independently while managing their time effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the gym facility
- Cleaning and sanitising gym equipment regularly
- Maintaining toilets, showers, and changing room facilities
- Vacuuming, mopping, and keeping floors clean and hazard-free
- Emptying bins and managing waste disposal
- Refilling cleaning stations and member hygiene products
- Conducting stock checks of cleaning supplies and reporting shortages
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Assisting with general facility upkeep and presentation
What We're Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience preferred (commercial or gym environment desirable)
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to deal with challenges and changing priorities professionally
- Friendly and approachable with a strong work ethic
