Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Worktop Installer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Measure kitchen spaces accurately to determine the correct dimensions for worktop fabrication
- Cut, shape, and prepare worktop materials using hand tools and power tools with precision
- Install worktops securely, ensuring proper alignment, sealing, and finishing touches
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of fabrication and installation
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed
- Communicate effectively with clients to address questions or concerns about the installation process
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction-related roles, particularly with carpentry, fabrication, or masonry
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and schematics for precise measurements and cuts
- Knowledge of construction techniques including plastering, roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, and masonry is a plus
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Strong understanding of safety standards and best practices in construction environments
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform detailed manual tasks
- Additional skills such as construction painting or working with fabrications are advantageous
