About Us
WeAre Education is a Hertfordshire-based tutoring agency working with students from KS2 through to A-Level across the full curriculum — English, Maths, Sciences, Humanities, Languages, and beyond. We deliver all sessions online via TutorCruncher Video, supporting students across the major exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, Eduqas, OCR, and others depending on subject).
Since 2022, we've grown from a handful of students to a community of over 100, and we're now expanding our team to meet rising demand across multiple subjects.
Our families are a real mix — UK students preparing for school exams, and international families living in the UK who want strong academic support as their children settle into the British curriculum. We work with both with equal care.
We care deeply about doing this well. Our students don't just pass exams — they leave us more confident, more curious, and genuinely better learners.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced A-Level Physics tutor. You'll deliver 1:1 and small group sessions to students preparing for GCSE and/or A-Level in your specialist subject(s).
You must be Enhanced DBS checked within the last year, or be on the update service.
You'll Be Supported With
- A steady stream of pre-vetted clients (no marketing required from you)
- A simple admin system for scheduling and invoicing
- A friendly team of fellow tutors to share ideas with
- Help sourcing specification-accurate resources where useful
What We're Looking For
- A degree in your subject (or a closely related field)
- Proven experience tutoring or teaching at GCSE and/or A-Level
- Strong working knowledge of at least one major exam board for your subject
- Confident teaching online and able to keep students engaged on Zoom
- Comfortable supporting both UK students and international students living in the UK who may be adjusting to the British curriculum
- Reliable, organised, and genuinely warm with students and parents
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Nice to Have
- QTS, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience across multiple exam boards
- Experience supporting EAL learners or students new to the UK curriculum
- The ability to tutor more than one subject
How to Apply
Send us your CV and a short cover note telling us which subject(s), year groups, and exam boards you've taught. We'd love to hear what drew you to teaching in the first place.
We review applications on a rolling basis and aim to respond within a week.
