The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and premises.
Duties include patrolling premises, enforcing security policies, and responding to incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure security and safety..
- Control access to buildings and facilities.
- Check and verify identification of visitors, employees, and contractors.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
- Report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures.
- Provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed.
- Conduct routine security checks and inspections.
- Maintain detailed reports and logs of daily activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a security guard or in a related field.
- Valid security guard license S.I.A
- Knowledge of security procedures and emergency protocols.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods.
- Must be able to Drive and have a car/transport
- Experience working in the public sector advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays and at short notice.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience in crowd control and emergency response.

- Night & Day call outs/guarding
- Must have a UTR number as this is a self employed position
- Must be able to liaise with the public
- Must have current SIA registration

Pay: £13.69-£14.52 per hour
