We are seeking a experienced CPCS crane supervisor to join our growing team based out of Aberdeen but supporting projects across the north east.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring lifting operations are carried out safely and in accordance with the lift plan and relevant regulations.
- Briefing the lifting team (crane operator, slinger/signaller, and other personnel) before work starts.
- Checking that the correct crane and lifting accessories are being used for the task.
- Verifying ground conditions and site safety, including exclusion zones and overhead hazards.
- Coordinating lifting activities to prevent conflicts with other site operations.
- Monitoring weather and environmental conditions that could affect lifting safety.
- Ensuring personnel follow the lift plan and safe systems of work.
