ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer proven commercial experience. A genuine enthusiasm for taking on new projects, engaging with diverse teams, and swiftly building relationships. We value individuals who bring an enthusiastic and determined attitude, while also maintaining a calm and consistent approach.
Please note, due to the sometimes fast-paced nature of this role, previous experience as a Junior Graphic Designer within an agency setting is desirable.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include:
· Take and interpret initial brief from internal team and clients
· Working in collaboration with the multi-disciplined creative team
· Develop visually creative work for clients live events, videos, digital media, printed projects
· Support the senior designers with artworking and image sourcing
· Creating printed graphics, digital graphics, email designs and icons
· Adhering to brand guidelines for a variety of clients
· Ensuring each project is bespoke and branding is clear throughout
· Ensuring all company folders are organised
· Working well under pressure and to strict deadlines
· Work alongside Senior Designers and Design Manager to develop, instigate and execute new improved ways of working, ideas & equipment
· Strong understating in Adobe Creative Suite skills, including but not limited to Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have worked within an agency setting for 1 – 2 years and have efficient knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite skills, including but not limited to Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop – you will be expected to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines. The wider design team will also be working on the projects, so it is important that you are able to be collaborative and work well in a team.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
· 1+ years of Graphic Design experience.
· A portfolio of work that demonstrates knowledge of graphical composition, typography, colour and layout.
· Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
· Strong technical knowledge, coupled with a creative flair for design and layout.
· Experience of working individually
· Experience of working with both digital and print design.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
· BA/BSc in Graphic Design or similar (desirable)
