Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our dynamic care team. Duties
- Assist residents or clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility
- Support the implementation of individualized care plans tailored to each person's needs
- Maintain clear and effective communication with residents, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update records regularly
- Drive between different locations for home care visits when required, ensuring timely and reliable service
- Promote independence while providing necessary assistance in a respectful manner
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any concerns promptly
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care services is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to connect empathetically with diverse individuals
- Basic IT literacy for maintaining electronic care records and documentation
- Valid driving license and ability to drive confidently between different locations for home visits
- Knowledge of care plans, health & safety procedures, and safeguarding policies is advantageous
