Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, assist with their inquiries, and guide them to products or services they need
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the store, including floors, shelves, and display areas, ensuring a welcoming shopping environment
- Support inventory management by restocking shelves, organizing displays, and conducting regular stock checks
- Operate store equipment safely, including cash registers and point-of-sale systems, accurately processing transactions
- Assist with store maintenance tasks such as janitorial duties to uphold health and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions promptly and resolving issues efficiently
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Previous experience in a similar role is necessary
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic familiarity with retail operations and cash handling procedures is advantageous
