Works all in Glasgow but also starting in Edinburgh also

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint and other finishes to various surfaces, as well as decorating and refurbishing interiors , This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion to contribute to high-quality projects across residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion of paints and finishes.
- Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment by disposing of waste materials responsibly.
- Operate relevant tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting or decorating is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of different types of paints, finishes, and decorating techniques.
- Familiarity with health and safety standards related to painting work.
- Valid driving licence is ESSENTIAL to facilitate transportation between sites.
- Previous experience working on residential or commercial projects will be ESSENTIAL
Pay: £13.73-£20.00 per hour
