Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across a variety of residential properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and practical experience in plumbing and heating systems. The position involves working both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service to clients, ensuring safety standards are maintained at all times.
Must live within 15 miles of Lincoln due to insurance, fuel and lease costs
Duties
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and heating systems in residential settings
- Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks efficiently
- Conducting routine inspections to identify issues with existing systems and implementing appropriate solutions
- Performing heavy lifting of equipment or materials safely and effectively
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
Qualifications
- Must Have ACS in natural gas CENWAT and CPA1
- Proven experience in plumbing and heating of atleast 5 years
- Oil and LPG qualifications would be advantageous
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and assembly processes.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, boilers and pipe assembly
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Mechanical knowledge combined with problem-solving skills for troubleshooting issues effectively
- Valid driving licence
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
