A well-established, family-run construction company based in Inverness is looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.

The Role
Working closely with the senior management team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of a variety of construction projects from initial cost planning through to final account.
This is a key role within the business, offering the opportunity to make a real impact while working on a diverse range of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
- Managing project costs throughout the construction lifecycle
- Negotiating contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Monitoring project expenditure and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Managing subcontractor accounts and payments
- Producing regular commercial reports for senior management
- Ensuring projects remain commercially viable while maintaining quality standards
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
- Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and cost management
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
- A full UK driving licence
