Join our dynamic team as an Apprentice Receptionist / Customer Service Team Member and kick-start your career in a vibrant, fast-paced environment!
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is keen to learn and wants to build a career in the property or customer service industry. You will be one of the first points of contact for our customers, providing a welcoming and professional service to landlords, tenants, applicants and visitors.
You will receive full training and support while working towards your apprenticeship qualification, gaining valuable experience across reception, customer service and lettings.
Duties
- Welcoming customers and visitors to the office in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to customer enquiries.
- Dealing with emails and general correspondence promptly and professionally.
- Providing information to prospective tenants and landlords and directing enquiries to the appropriate member of the team.
- Booking property viewings and assisting with the organisation of appointments.
- Registering applicants and keeping customer information up to date.
- Assisting with property listings, marketing and updating online portals.
- Liaising with landlords, tenants, contractors and other members of the team.
- Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and maintaining visitor logs
- Assisting with keys, property access and general office administration.
- Supporting the lettings team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring customer information is handled appropriately.
- Providing excellent customer service throughout the lettings process.
- Learning about the different stages of the property rental process and relevant industry procedures.
- Carrying out any other reasonable duties to support the smooth running of the office.
- Maintain a tidy reception area, ensuring it reflects a welcoming environment at all times
About You

- Comfortable using computers, email and Microsoft Office or willing to learn.

- Interested in developing a career in property, lettings or customer service.
Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided. We are more interested in your attitude, willingness to learn and ability to provide great customer service.
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive)
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently
- Basic typing skills for quick data entry and document creation
- Familiarity with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a fast-moving environment
