Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic morning Nursery Cleaner to maintain a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment within our childcare facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring all nursery areas are spotless, sanitized, and well-organized to promote the health and safety of children and staff alike. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of nursery rooms, play areas, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Sanitize toys, furniture, surfaces, and equipment regularly to prevent the spread of germs and maintain hygiene standards
- Dispose of waste safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations
- Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other consumables as needed to ensure continuous availability
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain consistent cleanliness throughout the facility
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and supplies used for accountability and compliance purposes
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures specific to childcare environments is a plus
- Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards
- Excellent time management skills to complete daily tasks efficiently
